To search for a part in your model
- Select (Search Parts ). The Search Parts dialog opens.
- In the Filter list, click on one of the criteria to use for your search.
- Select a search condition operator, such as = (equals), >= (greater than or equal to), <= (less than or equal to).

Select or type a comparison value.
For example, you can search for an
Object Type (equal to) = Beams, or a
Width (less than or equal to) <=
500.

Use the
Options field to specify how to display/hide
searched for parts:
- Select – Select the found parts on the model. Hide the found parts. Hide all other parts except the found parts Zooms to a view that contains all the found parts.
- Hide – Hide the found parts. Hide all other parts except the found parts Zooms to a view that contains all the found parts.
- Hide Other Objects – Hide all other parts except the found parts Zooms to a view that contains all the found parts.
- Mark – Zooms to a view that contains all the found parts.
- Zoom Extents – Zooms to a view that contains all the found parts.
- Select (Scan Model). The then analyze model structure, retrieve group structure from model, collect all objects, and separate model objects to global types.
